Swedish guitarist Niklas Engelin (The Riff Master) is one of the most respected musicians in the Scandinavian metal scene, with a career spanning decades of international touring, recording and songwriting.
Born and raised in Sweden, Engelin emerged from the early Gothenburg metal movement – the foundation of what would become the globally influential “Gothenburg sound.” He gained worldwide recognition through his work with In Flames, one of the most iconic bands in modern metal, where he contributed to shaping and evolving the melodic death metal genre on a global scale.
Today, Engelin is a founding member of The Halo Effect, a band that brings together key figures from the original Gothenburg scene. With The Halo Effect, he continues to carry forward the legacy of Swedish metal while reinterpreting it for a new generation.

Swedish drummer Anton Roos is recognized as one of the most versatile and experienced session percussionists on the Scandinavian rock scene.
Born and raised in Floda, Sweden, Roos began playing drums at the age of twelve. His early talent quickly became evident when he won the Swedish national drumming championship DRUM-SM in 2007 at just 17 years old, a milestone that opened the door to a professional career in music.
Following the competition, Roos secured the drum seat in several bands, including the Swedish rock group Saffire and later the melodic metal band Seventh Crystal.
Since 2013, Roos has worked as a freelance drummer, performing live and touring with a wide range of artists across the Scandinavian rock and metal scene.
His collaborations include performances with acclaimed Swedish artist Paulo Mendonca as well as bands such as Lillasyster, The Halo Effect and LOK.
Beyond touring, Roos is also a sought-after studio musician, having recorded drums for numerous artists and productions both in Sweden and internationally. Known for his precision, musical sensitivity and powerful groove, he has built a reputation as a drummer capable of moving seamlessly between different styles of rock and metal.
