Where Strategic Artist Development Meets Scandinavian Sound
GoSo Projects works in collaboration with Bohus Sound Recording — one of Scandinavia’s most respected studio environments — as part of its international music development model.
This collaboration connects creative project development with high-end Scandinavian production, giving selected projects access to trusted recording environments, experienced producers and a professional path toward release.
At the centre of this collaboration are Niclas Engelin and Oscar Nilsson, whose experience helps shape the sonic identity of projects developed within the GoSo ecosystem.
By linking strategic development with a studio environment of this level, GoSo creates stronger foundations for artists and projects aiming for international quality and long-term positioning.
Why This Matters
Through Bohus Sound Recording, GoSo connects artists and projects to a professional setting where sound, identity and execution can be developed at a high level from the start.
In today’s music landscape, talent alone is rarely enough. The journey from idea to release demands a clear artistic direction, technical precision, professional production and the ability to understand how sound becomes identity.
This is where GoSo’s model becomes valuable. The project is not built around fixed teams or traditional structures. Instead, it works as a flexible ecosystem where the right specialist competence is brought in exactly where it creates the greatest value.
Studio Bohus
Studio Bohus is run by Oscar Nilsson and Thomas “Plec” Johansson, who took over the studio in 2023 with a shared vision: to build a space where artists can create freely, without distraction.
Located in Kungälv, just north of Gothenburg, the studio offers a rare balance — total focus when you need it, while keeping one of Sweden’s most vibrant music scenes close at hand.
Originally designed and built in 1977 by Tom Hidley, Studio Bohus stands as one of the few remaining purpose-built recording studios in Sweden. Not a converted space, but a facility created from the ground up for sound.
Over the decades, it has been home to both international and domestic hit records across genres, from jazz to metal. Today, it is more than just a studio. It is a place to create, collaborate and take music from idea to finished record.
Mastering – Studio Bohus
As part of the TTA project, mastering is handled through the Studio Bohus environment with Thomas “Plec” Johansson.
Mastering is the final stage where a production is prepared for release across streaming, digital platforms and larger sound systems. It is where the recording receives its final balance, power and precision.
This reflects how GoSo works in practice: not through fixed teams, but through a flexible ecosystem where specialist competence is brought in exactly where it creates the greatest value.
