Taste of Bansko
A café that follows the town
Coffee, pastries, honey, herbs, juices and selected local products can arrive exactly where people gather — without requiring a permanent building.
A GoSo Project Concept · Bansko, Bulgaria
A flexible network of cargo bicycles bringing local services, culture, tourism and sustainable commerce directly to the people.
Explore the concept ↓Imagine a mobile café appearing in Bansko’s Old Town in the morning. Later, the same platform becomes a tour base, a gallery, a workshop or a local delivery vehicle.
Bansko Cargo proposes a small fleet of carefully designed cargo bicycles, supported by electric assistance where appropriate. Each bicycle carries an interchangeable module adapted for a specific activity.
The bicycles can move between the Old Town, central areas, parks, hotels, events and visitor routes according to the time of day, season and local demand. Instead of expecting people to find the service, the service finds the people.
It is not simply a bicycle.
It is a moving platform for new possibilities.
Flexible by design
Taste of Bansko
Coffee, pastries, honey, herbs, juices and selected local products can arrive exactly where people gather — without requiring a permanent building.
Made in Bansko
A curated display gives artists, farmers and craftspeople a new meeting point for ceramics, textiles, woodcraft, preserves and regional products.
Discover Bansko
Small guided experiences can begin from a bicycle equipped with maps, archive photographs, refreshments, rain covers and presentation material.
Bansko Pop-Up
The platform can unfold into a workshop, children’s activity, storytelling station, repair event, outdoor exhibition or small meeting place.
Bansko Green Delivery
Food, local produce, parcels and event materials can move between hotels, restaurants, shops and residents without adding another van to narrow streets.
Designed for a town that changes
Events, weather and tourism flows continuously change where people gather and what they need. A permanent kiosk cannot easily follow those movements. Bansko Cargo can.
Local deliveries and warm drinks from carefully selected locations.
Markets, cultural tours and collaborations with local producers.
Parks, festivals, workshops and outdoor visitor experiences.
A local business platform
Bansko Cargo should not compete with existing businesses. A restaurant can use the delivery service. A hotel can offer a private cultural tour. An artist can join a travelling exhibition. A producer can sell through the mobile market. An organiser can hire a bicycle as an activity station, café or information point.
Value for Bansko
Reach new customers and test services without opening another permanent location.
Gain visibility and direct contact with residents and international visitors.
Discover Bansko through a memorable, small-scale and personal experience.
Create a visible symbol of cleaner mobility, local ingenuity and thoughtful public space.
Start small · Grow with demand
Refreshments and a focused selection of local products.
Small guided introductions to Bansko’s places and stories.
Short, practical journeys for participating businesses.
Routes, seasonal demand, operating requirements, partnerships and public response can be evaluated before a larger fleet is developed. Expansion should be based on real use and proven local value.
The vision
A single cargo bicycle may appear small. But when it becomes a café, gallery, market, tour base, workshop and delivery service, it begins to change how a town can move, meet and create opportunities.
